In another bowl or ziplock bag, combine the buttermilk and 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the green onion slices. Marinate the chicken in the flour mixture for at least 30 minutes. In a shallow dish or pie plate, mix together the 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder and salt & pepper. Remove each chicken piece from the buttermilk mixture and coat in the cornmeal mixture. Preheat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken to hot oil and cook for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!
